The Orca is the largest species of the oceanic dolphin family. It is found in all the world's ocean's, from the frigid Arctic and Antarctic regions to warm, tropical seas.

Orcas are versatile and opportunistic predators.

Orcas are distinctively marked, with a black back, white chest and sides, and a white patch above and behind the eye. Calves are born with a yellowish or orange tint, which fades to white.

Orcas have a heavy and stocky body and a large dorsal fin with a dark grey "saddle patch" at the fin's rear.

They are fantastic!

I read a book called Matilda.

It was a novel by Roald Dahl

The parents of five-year-old girl, Matilda Wormwood don't care about her.

Though she shows strong signs of being a genius, they encourage her to watch television instead of reading books, which she prefers.

Matilda goes to the library and amasses a great deal of knowledge, so that when she starts school, she is very inteligent.

I liked the book because it 's very funny and the caracters are very interesting.

Last monday I was in a fashion show in Paris and I spoke to Laia Nicolau.Laia Nicolau is a famous designer. He is very happy at the moment because he is making some very exciting new clothers.

Laia had a good year because his designs became very popular.

He was in a lot of news papers and magazines.

In August he is going to visit London because his preparing new fashion clothes.

After that he is going to prepare a new fashion show in London. It's fantastic

A letter from a desert island

My name is Júlia and I'm writing this from an island near Australia.

I'm with my mother and my father. Our boat the "Black and White", is in pieces.

We are lost and we can't communicate either.

Life is very quite after three days on this island. We haven't got any meat and we can't see our family either. Every day we make a fire on the beach.

We can't survive here, it's very hot and windy. There isn't much food. We sometimes eat fish or fruit. We eat snakes too, but they're horrible!

A biography of a famous person


Avril Lavigne is a Canadian singer. She was born in Bellieve, Ontario in September 1984.
Her family moved to Napanee, Ontario, when Lavigne was five years old.
At the age of two, Lavigne began singing along with her mother on church songs.

At the age of eighteen she recorded her first CD (Let go) and it was a great exit.
Two years later, in 2004, she recorded her second CD (Under my skin).
Lavigne's third album , The Best Damn Thing was released on April 17, 2007 and debuted at number one in the U.S

Two of her famous songs are Girlfriend and Innocence, they are fantastic!

*My name is Júlia. I live in Banyoles, in Catalonia.

I get up at quarter past seven in the morning, and then I have a shower and I clean my teeth.

I get dressed and then I have breakfast with my father and my sister.

I go to school with my friends and we start school at nine o’clock.

We have lunch at school. We sometimes have legumes and fish. They’re horrible!

At five o’clock we finish school and I go to English lessons, music or tennis.

At eight o’clock I do my homework. And after I chat with my friends!


I love my day!!


A good friend

My friend is Adriana. She's twelve and she live in Barcelona.

Adriana is a good friend. I like her because she's very funny and nice. We often disagree. She likes basketball, but I don't like it.

I sometimes go to Adriana's house, and ske goes to my house. We sometimes wath
"Raven" together.

I like going to the cinema with Adriana, and we go skiing together.

Banyoles is a city in the north of Spain.
I'ts a small city but it's interesting. My favourite places are the square and the lake.
Banyoles has got many cafes and restaurants. The food is good and cheap.
There are not many shops. 100 Peus is a good shop for shoes.
There are some interestingtowns near here.
There's a bus station.
Near Banyoles there is one airport. It's in Girona, a city near Banyoles
